Peru Airport, nestled just 4 miles northwest of Peru, Indiana, has been serving the aviation community since its activation in March 1971. As a publicly-owned facility under the stewardship of the Peru Board of Aviation Commissioners (BOAC), our airport is dedicated to providing quality services to both local and transient general aviation enthusiasts.
Conveniently located within close proximity to various radio navigation aids such as the Grissom VORTAC and Marion VOR/DME, Peru Airport offers easy access for pilots navigating the skies. Our airport boasts a 4,400 x 75 ft. asphalt/grooved runway, equipped with medium intensity edge lights, PAPI visual slope indicators, and runway end identifier lights for enhanced safety during arrivals and departures.
At Peru Airport, safety and convenience are our top priorities. Our dedicated staff, led by Airport Manager Kelly Wolf, ensures that the airport operates smoothly and efficiently. With an active UNICOM frequency of 122.8, pilots can easily communicate and receive pertinent information for their flights. Pilots can also utilize KGUS Grissom Approach Flight Following at a frequency of 121.05 East and 123.85 West.
Fuel services are available with both 100LL and Jet-A options, and ample parking space is provided with hangars and tie-downs. Our team is committed to meeting the needs of our aviation community to the best of our abilities.
